My Political Leanings
I'm not fond of labels, but to make conversation easier, I am socially
progressive and fiscally moderate. My friends seem to think I'm a
liberal, and that is OK, it fits pretty well.
I just think the right wing here in the states has been driven insane,
and talk radio and Faux news has been doing the driving, and the
Koch brothers have been providing the gas.

Le Platform Du' Janet
This is a work in progress, the intent is to have a paragraph or
so on each topic, and then link to talking points that contain well
reasoned ready to use responses, with links to references.
I am not pleased that the right has the funding to create all of
these sets of canned talking points, and instead of a discussion it
becomes a link war where the rondroids, neocons and so forth just
post the same debunked arguments over and over, even after they get
debunked.

A publicly funded election is paid for with tax dollars, instead of corporations and the wealthy footing almost the entire bill, and the politician spending all their time raising funds instead of governing.
