Animation and Film

I like animation and film. I've helped with a few short movies and short a few scenes, but have not finished a project of my own. I've written a little, but again, I have not finsihed a project of my own. I've mostly done script doctoring.

I've watched quite a few films, around 1,800 or so. Although formulaic, writing is quite a bit harder than one might think. If you want to know about writing, check out the commentaries by David Brin, Lester Dent, L Ron Hubbard, Robert Heinlein and the like. Oh and Cory Doctorow. Bottom line, write, a lot, even if you hate what you write. It is like exercise you have to do it to get better, although not everyone gets good.
